KUBER UPASANA PUJA
Kuber Upasana Puja is performed to please Kuber Dev , who controls the distribution of wealth and prosperity .
Kuber Dev is the distributor of wealth whereas Goddess Lakshmi is the originator of wealth.
He is also referred as the Lord of north direction and he travels on his flying chariot (Pushpak) .
Kuber Dev also known as ‘ Dhanapati ‘ , is the lord of wealth and treasurer for all riches in the world .
Maharishi Pulastya was the son of Brahma and his son was Vishrava . Vishrava had two wives , namely Idavida and Kaikasi . The son of Maharishi Vishrava was named Vaishravana ( Kuber ) and son of Kaikasi was Ravan . Hence Kuber Dev is also referred to as Ravan’s half brother.
Kuber Dev is one of the beloved ministers of Lord Shiva and it was only by the boon of Lord Shiva that he got the fortune of being the god of wealth.
Lord Shiva had also given a boon to Kuber Dev that whoever worships Kuber Dev will be showered with wealth and splendor. Also, with Kuber Dev blessings the wealth of the houses never gets over.
According to the scriptures, the worship of Goddess Mahalakshmi should be worshiped for attaining wealth. Along with Mahadevi, worshiping the god of wealth, Kuber, also removes money related problems.
Kuber Upasana Puja is performed to attain and increase wealth, comfort, luxuries, and prosperity.
Kuber Upasan Puja is also a good remedy to get faster recovery of dues, protects from financial losses and helps one attain financial stability.
Diwali, Dhanteras, Akshaya Tritiya, Purnima (full moon day) etc are considered auspicious days to invoke lord Kubera for his blessings.
Kubera Mantra:
ॐ यक्षाय कुबेराय वैश्रवणाय धनधान्याधिपतये
धनधान्यसमृद्धिं मे देहि दापय स्वाहा॥
Om Yakshaya Kuberaya Vaishravanaya Dhanadhanyadhipataye
Dhanadhanyasamriddhim Me Dehi Dapaya Svaha॥
It is important to select the right Mantra, have proper Pronunciation and do the full Jaap quantity followed by a havan to get the desired results at the earliest.
